A small family farm built on care, kindness, and the legacy of my dad — the man who taught me everything and inspired this journey.
Our alpaca journey began following the loss of our dad on 28 November 2018. He was a hardworking farmer who loved this land, and the herd we have built is a small tribute to his memory. We often think about how much we would have loved to share this journey with him, and hope he would be proud of what has been achieved.
On 11th October 2020, We welcomed our first three alpacas. Through hard work, continual learning, dedication, and a passion for these wonderful animals, the herd has grown to eighteen alpacas. Every day, we feel privileged to see them grazing on the same family land that has been cared for by generations before us.
We started with just three alpacas. Since then, through determination, education, and plenty of hard work, that small group has grown into a herd of eighteen. Every alpaca here represents part of a journey that began with family, resilience, and a love for the countryside.
While dad never got to see the alpacas arrive, they will always be our tribute to him. We hope that, somewhere, he is watching over us and feeling proud of what has been built on the land our family has cared for over generations.

Workshops
From time to time, Liskeyborough Alpacas hosts small, hands‑on spinning and weaving workshops. These relaxed sessions give you the chance to work with our alpaca fleece, learn traditional fibre skills, and enjoy a peaceful day on the farm. Whether you’re a beginner or already love fibre crafts, you’ll leave with new skills and a deeper appreciation for alpaca fleece.
